TRIBUTE FROM SIBLINGS TO LATE ELDER CHRISTOPHER ADITETTEH NUMO

Nov 26, 2025 | By: Mabel Adikie Numo, Sampson Teye Numo and Benjilo Narh Numo

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write; Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. - (Revelation 14:13).

Friends, family, loved ones, well-wishers and sympathizers. We have gathered not to weep without hope but to honour a brother whose life shaped ours in ways words can scarcely hold.

Christopher, our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to you, our beloved big brother.

Chris, was more than just a big brother, he was a pillar of strength, laughter, a peacemaker, the calm that held us together and a source of encouragement to each of us. We grew up under the same roof, shared the same laughter, fought the same small childhood battles and dreamed the same bright dreams.

Through it all, you were our steady flame, quiet, gentle, and endlessly giving. Your absence now echoes through every corner of our lives. The world feels different, the days feel slower, and our hearts feel heavier.

Yet in this deep ache, your love still rises like light through a cracked door, warm, familiar, unforgotten.

What we shared was more than blood. It was a bond woven with trust and the simple beauty of being siblings.

You carried yourself with humility, kindness and a deep sense of responsibility. Your gentle words, cheerful spirit and willingness to help make you a joy to be around.

As siblings, we are grateful for the love you shared, the memory you left behind and the remarkable example and impart you set.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that you lived a purposeful life and touched many lives with your compassion and dedication.

Rest Peacefully in the bosom of your MAKER. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered.

Chris... Sleep, Christopher, sleep, sleep well.

You have fought well, loved well, lived well. Your legacy will not fade with the years, for it is written on the hearts of all who knew you.

Your Siblings.

TRIBUTE BY THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST – DAWHENYA DISTRICT ENGLISH ASSEMBLY

Nov 26, 2025 | By: THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST

The English Assembly of The Church of Pentecost celebrates the life and legacy of a man whose name was Numo—a name of honour, depth, and dignity. Elder Christopher Additetteh Numo served the Lord with excellence, humility, and unwavering devotion, leaving a mark that continues to speak even in his absence.

Before joining the English Assembly, Elder Numo presided at Maranatha Assembly, where his leadership was exemplary. When he transitioned to our Assembly—taking over from Elder Ernest Pratt—he brought with him the same zeal, spiritual discipline, and passion for God’s work that defined his ministry.

Elder Numo was strong-willed in the best sense of the word. He stood firm in his convictions, steady in his commitments, and unshakeable in his faith. He was a goal-getter, a leader who moved with purpose and pursued excellence in everything he touched. When Elder Numo sets his heart on a task, one could be assured that the work would be done—and done well.

Although his name is Numo, we often joked that his ministry had “no limit,” because his dedication, grace, and resilience seemed endless. Truly, he lived with an overflow of strength and determination.

His call to glory on Sunday, 28th September 2025 at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital brought pain to our hearts, yet it did not break our hope. We are confident that Elder Numo has joined the Church Triumphant, and for this reason, we do not mourn as those without hope. In Christ, death has lost its sting, and eternity has gained a faithful soldier.

Elder Numo, your footprints remain boldly etched in the life of the English Assembly. Your leadership, courage, discipline, humour, and unwavering commitment to the Kingdom continue to inspire us. Though you have joined the saints above, your influence still lives among us.

Rest peacefully, beloved Elder Christopher Additetteh Numo.

Until we meet again at the feet of our Master,

Your legacy lives on—and your impact remains limitless.
