Funeral poster, event page or both

One-week observance in Ghana Create a One-Week Notice or a One-Week Event Page

After a death, families often need to announce the one-week observance before all funeral arrangements are complete. The details must be agreed, presented respectfully and shared quickly with relatives in Ghana and abroad.
You can create a One-Week Notice, often called a one-week funeral poster, to print and to share as an image on WhatsApp or Facebook. You can also create a Digital One-Week Event Page within a Ghana Memorial. Or use both: they are created separately and connected by a QR code.

Announcing the one-week observance involves several decisions

The family has to confirm the date, time and venue, and share them consistently with relatives in Ghana and abroad, sometimes before every detail of the one-week is known.

A printed One-Week Notice and a Digital One-Week Event Page help the family communicate in different ways, with the same information, and keep it flexible when plans change.

Plan and share the one-week observance: confirm the date, time and venue; prepare a One-Week Notice early; share with family in Ghana and abroad; arrange print and social versions; keep details up to date

What is the difference between a One-Week Notice and a One-Week Event Page?

A One-Week Notice, often called a one-week funeral poster, is a designed announcement made mainly for printing. You can also download it as a JPG for WhatsApp and Facebook, or as a PDF. A Digital One-Week Event Page publishes the event details online and is part of every paid Ghana Memorial. It also offers a simple PDF summary of the event details that any visitor can open on a phone or print.

Part of every paid Ghana Memorial

Create a Digital One-Week Event Page

Start a paid Ghana Memorial and publish the date, time, venue and directions online. Share the link and add funeral information as the arrangements develop. Visitors can open the simple PDF summary on a phone or print it.

Each tool is ordered on its own. If your family wants both, create them one after the other. When the Ghana Memorial exists, the QR code on the Notice links to the Event Page automatically.

How the Notice and the Event Page connect

When your family has a Ghana Memorial, we automatically add a QR code to the One-Week Notice. The code opens the Digital One-Week Event Page in that memorial.

  1. Notice with QR code

We add the QR code to the printed Notice and the JPG.

  2. Scan with a phone

Relatives scan the code at home, at the venue or abroad.

  3. The Event Page opens

It shows the current date, time, venue and directions.

The Event Page is included in every paid

You were more than a friend — you were family.

Your kindness, your laughter, and your spirit will always live on in everything we do.

I will carry your memory with me, always.

Growing up, I could always count on Mom for her gentle hugs and encouraging words. Losing her was unbearably hard, but the memorial has become a special space where I can hold onto the happy times and feel her warmth all over again. It helps me remember that her kindness will stay with me, always, no matter where life takes me.

The memorial is deeply moving. It’s not just a structure — it’s where stories live on and grief meets remembrance.

It leaves a strong emotional impression of someone who has passed away, especially the background music. To me, the memorial represent love, memory and honor because it’s the last tribute for the deceased.
