Doyin Okupe

Dr. Doyin Okupe has been appointed Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs.
Mr. Okupe who was a former National Republican Convention (NRC) chieftain and later a spokesperson to President Obasanjo, was released by the EFCC on bail but was not charged because of administrative changes at the commission.
Doyin Okupe met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He met the President despite serving as Director-General of Peter Obi's 2023 presidential campaign council.
He stepped aside after corrupt allegations against him ahead of the 20223 general elections
