You demonstrated strength and faith through every phase of this. And I’m glad I told you how proud of you I am after your surgery, and I’m glad you heard it whiles you were here. My best friend and the absolute love of my life. I thank God for your life. I thank Him for the laughter we shared, for every silly fight we made up from -- there were so many of them, for the adventures we had, and for the quiet moments when we didn’t need to speak because our hearts understood each other. I thank Him for the lessons you left behind: to be gentle, to love fearlessly, to cherish family, to find joy in the simple things, to live fully. Rest well, my beautiful sister. Rest in the peace of Christ. Until we meet again in glory, I will honour you with my life, and I will love you for all my days.
