Early Life and Education

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known as Ebony Reigns, was born on February 16, 1997, to Nana Poku Kwarteng and Beatrice Oppong Marthin. Raised in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra, she hailed from the Brong Ahafo region. Ebony began her education at Seven Great Princess Academy in Dansoman and attended Methodist Girls High School in Mamfe, Eastern Region, though she left high school to pursue her music career.

Discovery and Career Beginnings

Ebony was discovered by Bullet from the music duo Ruff n Smooth and signed to his RuffTown Records label. She released her first single, "Dancefloor," in December 2015, which became a radio hit and earned her a nomination in the "unsung" category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.
