Born in Nkawkaw, Ghana. Raphael Dwamena discovered his love for football at a young age, developing his skills in local youth clubs.

Began his professional career with local Ghanaian clubs, showing early promise as a prolific striker.

Transferred to Swiss club FC Zurich, marking the start of his European football journey and gaining international recognition.

Joined Austrian club Austria Lustenau, impressing fans and scouts with his goal-scoring abilities.

Earned his place in the Ghana national team, representing the Black Stars in international competitions.

Signed with La Liga side Levante UD, becoming one of the few Ghanaians to compete at Spain’s top tier.

Dwamena is diagnosed with a cardiac condition and has an implantable cardioverter‑defibrillator (ICD) inserted while at Levante.

While playing for FK Egnatia in Albania, Dwamena collapsed during a match and subsequently passed away.
