Rev. Jacob Cephas Tetteh Agbodeka was born on April 14, 1940. He began his early education at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Primary School and later continued at L/A (No. 1) Middle School.
In 1959, he was baptized into the Presbyterian Church and subsequently confirmed in 1962, marking the beginning of his lifelong devotion to the Christian faith.
In his personal life, Rev. Agbodeka first entered into marriage and was blessed with a daughter. Following a separation, he later found companionship with Mrs. Gladys Lomokie Agbodeka, whom he married in 1975. Their union spanned 43 years until her passing, and together they raised 11 children, bringing the total number of his children to 12.
Rev. Agbodeka’s spiritual journey took a new turn when he joined the Divine Healers’ Church, where he first received his call into ministry in 1976. His quest for deeper theological training led him to the Church of Pentecost Bible School in 1978 and again in 1981, preparing him for a dedicated life of service.
In 1977, he transitioned to the Church of Pentecost, where he was once more called into ministry in 1978. Over the years, he faithfully served the church and its members, leaving behind a legacy of steadfast ministry and leadership.
Rev. Jacob Cephas Tetteh Agbodeka’s life was one of faith, service, and devotion to both his family and the church. His impact continues through his children and the many lives he touched in his decades of ministry.
