Daniel, as I affectionately called him, was like a little brother to me. Though he was only nine years old, he carried the wisdom of someone far beyond his years. Daniel was truly mature for his age, always asking thoughtful and intelligent questions whenever we spoke. He had a deep love for Jesus and was passionate about the things of God. I remember how neatly he would dress for church every Sunday—so admirable that I would often call him over just to take pictures with him. Daniel loved Christian music, and I cherished the moments when I would share the latest gospel songs with him, and we would listen together. Daniel, though you are no longer with us, your memories live on in our hearts. We will forever love and cherish you. Keep resting, brave soldier of Christ, until we meet again.
