I will deeply miss your laughter that could light up any room, your wisdom that always came at just the right time, and the way you made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.

I’m just lost for words. I post your obituary on my WhatsApp status without a caption because I somehow still don’t believe you are gone. Aunty Mercy, I’m glad you are the one God gave to me as my mother in-law. Your memories, I’ll cherish forever. Sleep well, Aunty Mercy.

Auntie Mercy, thank you for your guidance and kindness. I will always remember our last conversation, when you lovingly advised me on how to organize my mornings so my children and I would not be late for school and work, drawing from your own experiences. Thank you as well for giving me your son as a friend his presence has been a great comfort to me in times of grief. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest well, Auntie.

To think we will not hear you singing, see your beautiful smile, and your prayerfulness makes it hard to say good bye. You were one in a kind mother and will forever remain in our hearts. Cannot forget the prayers we used to share, your advises here and there and your unfailing love. You have left a huge gap in our lives and we will miss you dearly. Till we meet again, rest well, Auntie Mercy!!!
